We build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a published standard, not a slogan, and we check against it rather than guessing.
What that means in practice
- Text is sized and coloured to stay readable, with contrast measured rather than eyeballed.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the main content.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings follow a real outline so screen-reader users can navigate by structure.
- Motion respects your reduce motion system setting.
- The site reflows to one column on small screens without side-scrolling, and text can be zoomed.
Where we know we fall short
Some checks can only be confirmed with real assistive technology on real hardware, and that testing is still in progress. We would rather say so than claim a clean bill of health we have not earned.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, please email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what happened. We will fix it, and we will tell you when it is fixed.
We do not use an accessibility overlay or a plug-in widget. Those tend to paper over problems rather than solve them.
